Abstract:

The present study intends to approach the use of information and communication technologies in the teaching and learning process in the discipline of history at the José de Lima Junior school, located in the city of Carpina, in Pernambuco. The choice of theme was made as a result of the technological scenario experienced today, which provides new configurations of social relations and allows changes in different areas of individuals' lives. Technology is currently inserted in all spaces and scenarios of society, not being different in the educational context and, when used in the context of education, allow several possibilities of application, such as the use of digital media in classrooms. implementation of virtual learning environments - in which it is possible to post content, classes and interactions between teachers and students, as well as between the latter -, in addition to countless other applications of technological resources, such as computers, tablets, among other tools. In view of this scenario, a field research was carried out, through a questionnaire, at the José de Lima Junior school, in Carpina-PE. Four questionnaires were prepared and applied to four different groups, namely, managers, pedagogical support, teachers and students. The aim of the research was to analyze whether information and communication technologies are applied in the educational scenario of the school object of study, more precisely in the discipline of history, in order to carry out this analysis from four different perspectives.
