Abstract: This work aims to research some reflections regarding learning difficulties that occurred in the educational context. The research’s general objective is to diagnose and evaluate possible causes and difficulties related to the development of reading and writing in children enrolled in Elementary School I, as well as the application of methodologies aimed at improvements. The specific objective of the research is to carry out a survey and analysis of literacy diagnostic activities, identifying students in the 1st year of primary education in the public education network, who have not yet consolidated their reading and writing skills, taking into account their age and level. teaching, which are considered essential for the literacy process and, therefore, are considered students with learning difficulties. This research presents results on the importance of the pedagogical action of teachers who work in the first years of elementary school, choosing written language teaching strategies as the object of analysis. The area of education is not always surrounded by successful approvals. Many times, in the course of teaching, we come across problems that leave students paralyzed in the learning process. This is how those who cannot learn, do not do well at school, and cannot read/write are labeled by their families, teachers and peers.
