Abstract:Physics is present in everyday life. Their knowledge is important to make people’s lives easier and increasingly, with the advancement of technology, it is applied in practice. The study of physics in basic education often focuses only on memorizing scientific equations and laws, without any use for the life of the citizen. This thesis had as a guiding objective the qualitative bibliographic investigation of physics, theoretical and practical, of high school and its contributions to the formation of citizens in everyday life through the analysis of textbooks and official documents of pedagogical guidelines. In the specific objectives, the concept of basic physics was reported, what it encompasses, and how much of it is passed on to basic education students, as well as analyzing the physical phenomena in practice that are experienced in social daily life and make life easier. of the citizen in work activities and the basic physics taught in basic education was discussed and how much this contributes to the formation of the citizen by relating theory to day-to-day practice. Also, it was verified by means of bibliographic studies, the acceptance by students of physics teaching in Basic Education, showing its importance in the world of modern technology and related to the difficulties of teaching Physics through laboratory practice with accessible practical instruments. in everyday life. The National Education Guidelines and Bases Law – LDB 9,346 of 1996, the National High School Curriculum Parameters – PCN+, the National Common Curricular Base – BNCC and the reference matrix of the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira – INEP, in the teaching of natural sciences and their technologies. All these documents pointed to the need for a practical teaching of Physics, where it was found that the teaching of physics was not truly directed to a contribution to the formation of the citizen, priority was given to theoretical situations with virtual problems without taking into account practicality. of everyday life. So, it was intended, in this research, to discuss the relationship between theory and practice, where the importance of two themes was taken into account: the knowledge acquired at school and the knowledge acquired in everyday life. This duality of theory and practice was presented from the analysis of four collections of books considered among the most important for high school. Classical Physics, Physics Topics, Bonjorno Physics and the National Book and Teaching Material Program – PNLD, 2021 teaching of Natural Sciences and its Technologies, each of the collections with three volumes, being the PNLD 2021 with six volumes, where presented with radical changes in the programming of the content of the teaching of Natural Sciences and its Technologies.
