Abstract: Environmental Education is a key element that contributes directly to meaningful learning. It is through it, whether literal or worldly, that it is possible to more easily achieve the idea of teaching and learning more and more and better the care and attitude towards the environment and the preservation of nature. Thus, the present work is justified, considering that the approach of Environmental Education in the final years of Elementary School in the public schools of Nova Olinda-PB is of extreme relevance, since the learners understand the contents, providing for life in understanding the importance of zeal for the environment as preservation is necessary and that Environmental Education is a channel that will raise awareness of the issues posed. Environmental Education here is treated as an activity in continuous need of construction and teachers, seen as greater collaborators in the process of training new readers in the perspective of world understanding and preservation of natural resources. Thus, throughout the methodological course, we tried to write by making a cross between theory and practice in the perspective of teaching. In this bibliographical, documentary and empirical research, a survey of data materialized through visits and interviews was carried out, in which a portrait of the schools in process of formation with their specificities and conceptions about their condition of promoters and constructors of Environmental Education inside and outside from school. The results presented prove that an Environmental education is for a practice that is passed out of school and that returns to school in this dialectic circle of continuous formation, when inserted in a creative, constant and interdisciplinary way in the classroom, can bring the necessary definitions and urgent for teaching. The formation of agents of Environmental Education does not depend on the existence of a specific place, but also on the motivations that are constructed by both the learner and the teacher. There are infinite possibilities to transform the whole school into an area of Environmental Education, especially the classroom, a place chosen by the school culture as privileged for the main learning.
