Abstract:

In a computerized society and in accordance with the Technological Plan, school spaces play a fundamental role in accessing the considered Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for their students. Studies point out that ICTs are not yet effectively used in the teaching-learning processes and when they are, most often still have a traditional teaching perspective. The purpose of this study is to point out how the application of information and communication technologies helps to teach physics contents to high school students in high school physics education. It is known that the changes that technologies propose can occur at different rates for each school reality. These changes are some of the factors that can influence learning, as long as there is adequate infrastructure and continuing training for the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as potential resources in Physics Teaching. However, the present study aims to understand how the application of information and communication technologies assists in the teaching of physics contents for students of the 2nd year of high school at the State Technical School Professor Célia Siqueira in São José do Egito-PE . Regarding the methodology employed in the present study, it can be said that it is a quantitative and qualitative research, and the methodological approach adopted in this research was descriptive. The research was conducted through a questionnaire and had as participants of the research teachers and students of the 2nd year of High School of the State Technical School Professor Célia Siqueira of the city of São José do Egito- PE. The data show that there is a need for the school to apply a new practice aimed at the active participation of its students in the organization of ideas and construction of concepts and formulations, how to use ICT in the teaching and learning of students in the highlighted subject, and also enable an openness. of space for study, discussions and reflections on pertinent topics about the use of technologies together with teachers in a teaching proposal focused on educommunication.
