Abstract:

Occured important Changes in the formation of teachers in the national scene they come to excite to the importance of if working the social abilities of the teachers, in view of, a generalista formation in the field of the education. This study it had as objective to evaluate the social abilities in teachers of the basic education of the county public net of education in Nova Olinda-PB. For in such a way, it was used as inquiry strategy, the quantitative avaliativa research by means of a questionnaire demographic partner and the Inventory of Social Abilities (IHS-Del-Prette 2001) applied in field. 67 teachers, chosen by means of amostral calculation had participated. The data from the percentage had been about answers for the 05 factors of dimensions of the social abilities in accordance with the inventory. Thus also the demographic partner analysis was carried through, looking for to verify its frequency. It is resulted of this understanding that, the social abilities in teachers of the county basic education are a phenomenon that must be studied, therefore directly are related to the process of education and learning of the learning. From the data gotten in the research, it can be verified that, of the 67 evaluated teachers: 36 (54%) had been identified with repertoire sufficiently elaborated of social abilities; 12,7 (19%) with good repertoire of social abilities; 4,6 (7%) with average repertoire of social abilities; 2,6 (4%) with repertoire below of the average of social abilities; e 10,7 (16%) with indication for training in social abilities. Finally, ace social abilities of the teachers of the county basic education in Nova Olinda-PB, needs to be rethink in some cases and acquires sensible by means of the inclusions with other knowledge. In case that contrary, the risks to incur itself into an education with little quality in itsexercise are many.
